African salad(Abacha)

 

HOW TO PREPARE AFRICAN SALAD



How to make African salad the ingredients used to make African Salad (Abacha)

You will be needing your 
Raw Abacha
Dry pepper 
Salt
Crayfish
Ukpaka
Ehuru
Onions 


Method of preparation:

      You first of all get your raw Abacha soak it in water for 10 minutes then you bring it out and put it in a sieve and leave it. then you bring a pot add your dry pepper your crayfish and your Ehuru then fry for about 5 minutes. okay after Frying for 5 minutes you bring it out from the pot. then transfer to a mortar. pound it well till it is well pounded. then in a pot add your oil your onions and your Maggi stir for like 2 minutes. 




           Then bring it down and transfer to your mortar. turn both the oil sauce and the grinded Ehuru, dry pepper and crayfish. then mix everything together. then after you add your Abacha add bit by bit so you can get everything and make sure you turn it very well then your salt add your salt bit by bit because if you add too much salt it will not be too nice and you may hate the taste. then for your toppings that's what you want to be on top of the Abacha you can fry your cooked ice fish you can get garden egg if you want. some people use the leaf is optional though. then for the oil sauce you can pound Crayfish and Pepper if you want,
